Vanrail Supplies (Pty) Ltd, a leading manufacturer and supplier of engineering products and services to the railway rolling stock industry, will be participating in the upcoming Southern African Railway Association (SARA) annual conference and exhibition. The event is scheduled to take place from October 25 to 27, 2023, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
Since its inception in 1992, Vanrail has evolved from supplying pneumatic and mechanical products to South Africa’s railways to providing solutions to many railroads on the African continent and beyond. As the representative for the Graham-White Manufacturing Co. of Salem, Virginia, USA in Africa, Vanrail leverages the advanced technology of this Wabtec Corporation subsidiary, a global leader in the drying of compressed air for locomotives and rail transit vehicles. Graham-White products feature prominently in several of Transnet’s latest locomotives, with components assembled at Vanrail’s Centurion factory and manufactured at their Montagu, WC facility.
